ipad Station

The ipad Station project came our way because the customer was not satisfied with their current options for an existing product. We worked with them and learn more about the existing product features they liked, disliked or wanted changed.

Improvements we implemented

• Rotated the base

• Slip resistant feet

• Height adjustable

• Tilt mechanism

• Adjustable mounting slots

• Hidden cord management

Assembly Fixture

We were tasked to redesign an existing fixture for one of our customers. They provided us with the old fixture and we discussed changes they where looking for. After the initial consultation, we created a CAD model of what we came up, agreed upon the design and started manufacturing. Final fixture is shown to the right.

spinnaker pole ring

One of our customers was in need of a quick turn around for a spinnaker pole ring. They were having a hard time finding one that was in stock and could get to them quickly, no off the shelf part was able to make it to them in time for there up coming race. So we at Stre designs were able to collaborate, design and make one in time. They ended up crossing the finish line first in their class.

Reverse Engineering

We have reverse engineered a few parts. To the right is a door handle we made. First we started with a factory handle and made a CAD model. Next we make 3D prints for test fitment. When fitment is confirmed, the first one is cut from aluminum for final testing/review for the customer. Once reviewed, models are finalized and an end product is conceptualized.
